We all should respect the lifestyles of others, and if you feel the need to disrespect, it should not be while you are driving a company vehicle, and your actions could become public knowledge. We live in a city full of diversity and that should be commended, not condemned. The owner / driver of a yellow Hummer with 713-TICKETS boldly posted on the Hummer is quite obviously homo-phobic and yelled obscenities to a gay couple in their car, for several blocks after seeing them share a kiss in their car. You never know whom they might have told this story to. I'm just one of many who heard it. So, if you prefer to purchase tickets from a NON-prejudice business, 713-TICKETS would NOT be the place to spend your money. If you like bigots, then they are, without a doubt, the place to call. I am more kind than this individual, and did not mention the first or last names of the driver and passenger of the Hummer. Mean boys! Shame on you, K & M!

It's that time of year when the Houston Chronicle looks for the Best of the Best in the City! If you can please take a moment to fill out this link and list my friend, Gina Rotolo's (publicist / diva) clients in the following categories, it would be greatly appreciated. Voting takes place from July 4th to August 9th, so you have time to vote as often as you want. Vote for Erotic Cabaret for best adult novelty store too, because I saw that category on the list and they are the coolest. Here are Gina's clients; Best Children's Clothing Store: Chase's Closet located on W. Gray and Best Jewelry Store: The Noble Lady located on Persa Street. Let me know what other places you recommend and I'll mention them. Click here: http://fs6.formsite.com/HoustonChronicle/form116102568/index.html.

I was kidding about boycotting KRBE because they play that lame "Mr. Lonely" song, so if you stopped listening, start again. Thanks for all the emails you sent saying you agree with me about the song. It's awful. KRBE has a great deal to offer though, so to get your message out to over 339,000 weekly potential club/bar/restaurant patrons (ages 21-44) with 104 KRBE. Email my friend, Mike Guerrero at mguerrer@104krbe.com (yes, that's correct, no o at the end, unlike his name) for more details. See, KRBE? I still love you.

416 Main Street, formerly home to Saba Blue Water Cafi, is in the process of renovating. The 3,600 sq-ft. location will offer Houstonians a new place to dine in the heart of downtown. This will be the first new restaurant along Main Street since the Downtown Entertainment District opened in October 2003.

NEWS IN THE BIZ: Send me resumes, as I have employers searching for waitresses, a Marketing Director and a General Manager right now. I have several Event Planners' resumes to view, if you're looking. There's a new guy in town, just moved here from Colorado, and is looking for opportunities as a web developer / web designer. I have his resume, if you want to see it. He knows Javascript, PHP, and MySQL, and has some experience with ColdFusion as well. Hey, all drinks with Absolut Peach are only $5 during June at the Red Lion Pub, 2316 S. Shepherd. You can work on your resumes while tossing back a few of those $5 drinks.

REMINDERS: See you at the 8th Annual Ambassador's Summer Soiree on the 24th. See you at the MERGE!tini Launch Party on the 25th. Don't scream obscenities out the window of your car to people who are different from you. Be nice. It's not that hard for most of us.

Your future depends on many things, but mostly on you. - Frank Tyger

Good quote, Frank Tyger! Grrrreat!
