A humongous benefit for Katrina is in the works and will be hosted by the Meridian, called "Bring Back the Big Easy," on Saturday October 8th. We are looking for art to be donated for the auction. This benefit is for the service, entertainment and hospitality industry, as well as to support the many artists and musicians who have been devastated by Katrina's aftermath. I met a new friend, Jennessa Yocham, who has been a hairdresser for five years. She is a Certified Farouk (biosilk and chi) educator in color and products, and she has been through the Toni and Guy basic one cut program. Jennessa currently works at Beauty Bar Houston at 1003 West Gray at Montrose and she is also certified with Nova Lash eyelash extensions and she also does great length hair extensions. Kimberleigh Coyne is a server and does marketing and new business development for Chuy's of River Oaks (2706 Westheimer.) Kim also books events for Chuy's and for Crave Sushi (2900 Travis.) She has been an event planner in Houston's Hospitality Industry since 1995, having done projects for over 30 venues in town over the years.
