REMINDER FOR THIS SATURDAY: Ready to rev-up your engines and celebrate party #50? One of Houston's most successful and longest-running dance party series celebrates their 50th After-Hours Event. Beyond Entertainment's SPOILED BOYZ (www.spoiledboyz.net) will host the Dukes of Hazzard inspired DUKES OF HOUSTON After-Hours Party late night Saturday, October 8th (new date, people, pay close attention, last newsletter had a different date.) I mean it and I'm CERTAIN it is on the 8th, at the hot, new NEXT Dance Club (www.whatsnexthouston.com) located at 2020 McKinney @ Chartres (behind the GRB Convention Center). LA's renowned Remix Artist and after-hours expert DJ DAWNA MONTEL will be driving the party into the wee morning hours. Daisy Dukes & Rebel Country attire encouraged. Doors open 3:30AM. Advance Tickets available at M2M Fashion. All these date changes for various events are thanks to that Hurricane Rita. Even some Hurricane Benefits were postponed due to a HURRICANE. That's crazy, I say someone needs to introduce Mother Nature to some stiff cocktails and keep her at bay for a while.

NEWS IN THE BIZ: the Houston Single Source party at D'Wine will be on October 7th, the date changed from September 29th, so if you are sorry you missed it, you didn't miss it, after all. The food at Market Square Bar and Grill is incredible and Kim, Dylan, Maggie and Nell are just as yummy, as far as service. Their courtyard is so cool, I want to live in it! Special thanks to Cesar Reyna for always taking me there to eat. Amanda Mora is now working at Cova Wines at 5600 Kirby Drive, www.covawines.com. Next Thursday is the new date for the Fashion Show and CD Release party at 6° and click the FREE PARKING box to the left to see the invite for the party we are hosting next Saturday.
