Theatre Under
The Stars' production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, CATS,
is in town from December 6th-18th at the Hobby Center (800
Bagby at Walker.) The show is based on "Old
Possum's Book of Practical Cats" and other poems by T.S.
Eliot. CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual
gathering of Jellicle cats. For tickets to CATS, call (713) 558-TUTS
or visit www.tuts.com. It’s one of my favorite plays and
I’ll be seeing it for the second time in my life on December
8th.
Great gift idea place: Accents Furniture on SW Freeway. I walked
in and my jaw just dropped at all the lavish furnishing and accessories.
I wanted EVERYTHING in the store! Go see for yourself and ask
Gin to be your sales-goddess and show you around. Have her tell
you the funny story about my purse while you are there too.

If there
are any Beastmaster Fans out there, you can find lots of TV
show memorabilia at this link: entertainment-memorabilia.search.ebay.com/beastmaster_Entertainment-Memorabilia_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8QQsacatZ45100.
I know this because, believe it or not, I went to Middle School
in Vail, Colorado with Marjean Holden who plays Arina. To see
more about Marjean and other acting jobs she has had, visit www.marjeanholden.com or http://www.beastmaster.com/cast/holden.html. I’ve also
seen her appearances on Suddenly Susan and Tales from the Crypts,
but she has many more to her credit. She’ll take on a new
role this month, she will learn how to play a “mother” with
the impending birth of her first child.
