The last chance to see CATS in Houston will be December 18th. Theatre Under The Stars' production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, CATS, is in town at the Hobby Center (800 Bagby at Walker.) The show is based on "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" and other poems by T.S. Eliot. CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats. For tickets to CATS, call (713) 558-TUTS or visit www.tuts.com. It’s one of my favorite plays in the history of mankind!

Start planning your January social calendar and join the Queen of Clubs and Houston Single Source at The Flat (1701 Commonwealth) for an event called “Wine, Women and Song” on Wednesday, January 11th beginning at 6PM. Want to be an angel? Log onto GoodSearch.com. The new search engine, powered by Yahoo, donates money to your charity of choice every time you search, at no cost to you. When founder Kenny Ramberg realized last year that search engines generated nearly $4 billion in advertising revenue, he started his own, aiming to donate 50 percent of the profits to charity. Just go to GoodSearch.com, enter the charity you want to support in the provided field, and search. Don’t see your favorite cause represented? You can add it. Want to spread the love around? Change your charity as often as you like. The search results are as good as those on Yahoo, so you can do your very important research in the same amount of time. Wow, that is Heaven-sent!
