THE "DISH" AT ST. PETE'S: As always, you can see the complete list of upcoming live music at St. Pete's Dancing Marlin at both www.myspace.com/spdm and www.myspace.com/houstonqueenofclubs. We have a new addition at St. Pete's. I was a temporary fill-in manager while we looked for one that actually had experience and had a clue about restaurant managment (which I certainly do NOT,) and after a 5-month search, we found Stephanie Loyd (formerly the manager at Cabo.) She has been with us for about 6-7 weeks and I am relieved. Let me just summarize that if I die and go to hell, restaurant management will be IT! Give me the joys of marketing, event planning and booking bands any day of the week and I will be a happy chick. I am now part-time at St. Pete's and you can find me there weekday lunches. See NEWS IN THE BIZ to see where I am now working at night. You will also find me at Deco on Tuesday nights and I'm at Identity for Thursday happy hours when I have events scheduled there. I have some exciting news, there is a launch party for a new band I am representing called HAMSTER INFERNO and the premiere party is on January 20th at SPDM. In honor of HAMSTER INFERNO, I have added a new family member to the menagerie of pets I already have. I am now a proud parent of Jethro, who is an adorable Teddy Bear Hamster. Jethro will be at the party on the 20th too because he is the mascot of HAMSTER INFERNO. To RSVP for the party, below are two links to try, but if it doesn't work for you, send me a personal email to houston_queen_of_clubs@yahoo.com and request to be put on my evite list for future evites. Try either of these for the HAMSTER INFERNO evite:

www.evite.com/pages/invite/viewInvite.jsp?inviteId=CTUJPNLMJJRQVSGAETII

or www.evite.com/app/publicUrl/madchatter@hotmail.com/hamsterpremiere. I'm not at St. Pete's as often as I used to be, but you may still book events with me there, so just call 832-885-7274. Oh, and check out the hot display in the armoire near the kitchen next time you are at St. Pete's Dancing Marlin that Briana, Stephanie and I worked on. I'm pretty proud of it.

IDENTITY BAR: Every Thursday, you can catch DJ's Rone, Yan and Krysiz, all of One Sound Entertainment, at the brand new Identity Bar located at 5959 Richmond. Owned by Jordan H., who used to own Tribeca Lounge, Identity bring a new freshness to the Galleria area and a welcome change to the bars in that vicinity. A special congrats goes out Jordan also who will become mom to QUADRUPLETS this month. Identity is open Wednesday-Sunday nights with happy hour from 6-9 Wednesday-Friday. Friday happy hours are hosted by Quest Entertainment while 2's Company puts the "happy" into Wednesday and Thursdays happy hours. To book your event, happy hour, birthday, bachelor or Bachelorette party at Identity, call me at 832-885-7274. This year is all about HAT-itude! Rachel Luna and myself want to give back to the community, and with our party on January 25th, HAT-ITUDE, we want to help ordinary young children facing extraordinary circumstances. Unfortunately we live in a society where it's philosophy in life is "appearance matters." It's hard being a young child, but being a young boy or girl with cancer and without hair can be truly traumatic. Bring a hat, get a free drink. All hats will be donated to Texas Children's Hospital for children who are undergoing chemotherapy. Each day 46 children are diagnosed with cancer. 91% of these children undergo chemotherapy treatment. These children endure so many battles and are already emotionally devastated by a cancer diagnosis. Together we can help them fight and win their self-confidence and self-esteem back. Please come out and celebrate with us, enjoy a new bar in Houston and make a difference in very special children's lives while we socialize and network. Special thanks to Tanya White for the idea for this happy hour's charity. Send me your email if you want me to send you the evite to the HAT-ITUDE party. Add Identity as a friend on myspace at www.myspace.com/identitybar.

Do you know you now have an electric choice in Texas? You can save money by choosing a reliable provider that offers lower rates than the monopolies (Reliant, TXU, CPL, First Choice) Interested in residential? You can switch to a provider that offers a lower rate and more savings with no deposit, no switching fees and noone comes to your home. It takes 30 days for transfer to complete so if you are moving to new home/apartment, let Riz know. His info will be at the end of this paragraph. Are you business owner? Then Riz also can do a free cost savings analysis (quote) for you to compare with your existing provider. He shops the best rates out there on the market. Remember Riz also shows no bias toward any particular company since he is a broker. He is a broker who represents many retail electric providers so he know the current market rates. Stop paying too much with your current provider and simply contact him if you have any questions. You can reach Riz at 713-503-3098. Do it today and save a buck or two so you can spend more money on food and drinks (and limos from R&R) from the establishments I work for!
