Cinco de Mayo is approaching. Manager Anabello Soto has transferred from the Woodway location of Cyclone Anaya’s to the location I work for in midtown. Anabella is also the Point Beverage Manager for all of the Cyclone Anaya’s locations and she and our fearless leader, Ruben Ramirez (Director of Operation for all of our restaurants) were the masterminds behind last year’s Cincofest at Midtown Park. The festival will take place again this year, On May 1st and 2nd so save the dates and plan to attend. If you want to submit a demo of your band for consideration to perform at the festival, you can get the information to me at houston_queen_of_clubs@yahoo.com with a link to you music and I will get it to Anabella. The only way to contact Anabella directly is to drop a demo CD and fact sheet by Cyclone Anaya’s at 309 Gray and it must be contained in a manila envelope for safe-keeping. If you are a band I have booked at other bars or restaurants I worked for in the nightclubs business, of course I will give her a recommendation for you. Should you have any questions, please call or text me at 832-885-7274.
